The “bouclette” (the technical term is Cornely) is a personalization technique very close to embroidery because we also use threads (in wool).
The "loop" effect is due to the fact that the needle will prick the fabric and when it comes out it will leave a slight loop on the surface. It is this method that gives the appearance of volume to the personalization.
For the record, it's a technique invented by a Frenchman at the beginning of the 20th century!
This technique is mainly used on “heavy” garments such as sweatshirts, jackets and teddy's. Our teams will advise you on the feasibility of your request depending on the model chosen.
